Not posted a photo for a while as I've been out of action a few weeks recovering from an operation (nothing serious).
Anyway in that time I knocked up a Photobook and ordered it through Jessops containing a selection of my favourite photo's of my son over the last 6 months. This is the photo I chose for the cover because as well as really liking how it turned out, the framing I acheived with it also had a nice empty space on the left for putting in the title of the book in bold white lettering. The title was 'Adam Year 2 Volume 1'. A bit cheesey but the end result was much nicer than an album. This was also the first great shot I got whilst taping my lens to 50mm and it really did improve some of my photos that day. I feel he looks as though he's trying to climb into the Giraffe enclosure at the Zoo. ![]() Let me know what you think. Comments and advice are always appreciated. Click the here for the larger version on Flickr as I feel it looks much nicer in the bigger format.

He's not on the third line so to speak but to me he is in the last third of the image. I've not cropped the picture further as the crop would either fall right on the Giraffes legs or cut them out of the picture altogether and I wanted to show what it was on the other side of the fence he was trying to get to. I felt on this occasion that it was neccesary to break the rules so to speak. A crop just didn't feel right to me, see pic below. I know it's a matter of taste but I just went with what felt right to me. I appreciate the feedback though, if it wasn't for the Giraffe I may of cropped it further.

Honnestly I didn't know that a girafe was there... My zodiac sign is libra so I think I have difficulties to tell which one is the best... I think that the first one is too large but the second one seems to be too short... Maybe in between is the best! But I must say that EVERY photo of our kids is special!
