Default Sunrises and spiders

I shot these a month or two back but have recently got them printed, framed and hung on the wall. So that's what photos are for!

A pond in local woods:

Somebody else's rock stack that I couldn't resist using in the forgeround:

And since I like jumping spiders here's a couple I've been chasing about the place recently....

I don't know what the first one is but it has it's front legs in the air in preparation for jumping even although it had a mouthful of fruit fly. The second one is a female Euophrys lanigera and is commonly found on the walls of houses in the UK.

Thanks for looking.

Nice pics! I love the clouds in the 1st shot, as well as the sun coming through the silhouetted trees . I am glad you got that close to the spiders, 'cuz I never will!

Your rock stack looks like an Inukshuk. We saw them all over on a recent vacation near Georgian Bay in Ontario.

Wow, those are awesome shots! I'm not much of a spider person, so I had to cringe at those really great close up shots. I don't think I've ever seen a spider that close up before...don't want to, but would rather do it in photo form than real life, lol. Great work!

OMG, that first shot is absolutely stunning. I can't shoot landscapes to save my life, so I really appreciate beautiful shots!

A new word for me...ta I've seen those up north in the more remote parts of Scotland. There's a huge big cairn on the top of that hill and the stack of rocks was off to the side so you'd go down the wrong side of the hill if you used it as a marker post. It wasn't there a few weeks before which makes me think somebody was just mesing about but either way I was glad they did.
