Default Fall Fusion

I was shooting multiples with bracketing on so I could try a HDR .. My camera guy suggest I try this trial software, I used the Exposure Fusion option of three images a stop apart .. pls excuse the water mark, but I guess it's appropriate since they're letting me play ..

Great Job Ian, I have the Photomatrix software as well, but haven't taken the time to explore it yet.
Your Waterfall is wonderful, smooth water and great DOF. It's good that it doesn't look HDR, so of them at really overdone.
Thanks for sharing this
Michael.

Its a good picture Ian, good colour, good detail and good water movement. I'm with Sheldon, I wouldn't have thought HDR if you hadn't mentioned it. I've just acquired a 'how to' guide for HDR and intend to give it a go, but at the moment for me, the jury is out.

Thx Michael, I started into bracketing when shooting falls or trickier images, I know the camera has extra skills I'm yet to understand never mind master .. I think the image has greater dof from the 3 images being overlaid ..

Thx Steve, I am so obsessed with this hobby (yes I know I'm alone in that) that I'm wanting to try anything and everything to learn .. I've seen (to me only) images that seem a tad unreal from HDR and some that seem to be so softly worked they seem like they were supposed to look that way ..

Love the waterfall. Sometimes HDR look over processed to me. This looks great!

Nice shot, looks like it turned out very well and I like the angle you have composed across the fall to show the stair-steps of the fall.
