Default Bright colors on a dreary day

We took our son to the park today. It was a bit overcast, so all the light was too blah. However, the playground equipment was bright enough to lighten up our day! I got a little artsy with some of the shots.

Very colorful! What a great idea to lighten up an overcast day.

Default Good!

You have a good eye for the abstract, and for saying things with form and color… excellent attributes to have for any artist. Don't be afraid to allow yourself to let go of convention completely. I have a sense(woman's intuition?) that you feel you need to leave the viewer with some familiar point of reference in each photo… experiment, you have the potential of an important artist, but don't put assumed restrictions on your own work… the viewer can take care of themselves! I love 'Slip, Sliding Away'! Great job… don't stop. -Jenny

Thanks! I had a lot of fun with this. Got a few laughs from passersby when they saw a big 6'6" fella sliding down the slide with his two-year old beside him.

Thank you very much for the compliments. I plan to dive into the abstract more deeply in the future.
