Default Emergency Services In Action...

Rather a different set today....
We went for a quiet drive up the Thames Coast yesterday, and encountered the unexpected...yes every emergency service was in action due to a huge out-of-control blaze on a hillside beside the main highway. I salute these men and women who risk life and limb for our wellbeing. Cheers to you guys and gals from these services, all over the world, you do a great job !!!

And last but not least, the remains of an old wharf we came across in our days travels.

I hope you enjoy!

They are all good, but #4 is my favorite. You always do such a lovely job at framing your photos. I really need to learn how to do that!

Does not look like you had such a quiet ride afterall. And you are correct, they are all heros in their own right as they risk life and limb for us. These are great shots and thanks for sharing them.

I have to agree, they do a great job, and a little different for you Pauline but a worthy cause to take time out of your usual views to photograph the emergency services hard at work. I hope they got the fire under control and it didnt stop you reaching your destination. Thank You for sharing them with us Pauline. And lovely presentation.

Dave.

Hi Pauline, yes they all do well. Great shots - just as well you had that camera with you - no doubt it does not leave your side like mine does these days.

You have captured the action in the first 3 shots but I do like no. 4 the best. Cheers, Bernz

Thankyou Mymaison. Your comments are much appreciated. The framing is so simple really.

Thankyou Mike. No it wasn't a quiet drive up the coast after all and the wait was quite lengthy, but to watch these professionals in action was worth every minute that we waited. I just wish the shots had been a little clearer and the windscreen a little cleaner LOL

Thanks Dave. Well yes, we did eventually get to our destination...the beauty of it was the person we were going to meet was caught in the same queue, so we weren't actually holding anybody up.
