Default My attempt at LED Spirographs

The "how-to" was posted in the How I Took This section. For me, I used an emergency flashlight from my car with 3 little LED's so it's a thicker line. Kinda funky. In case some of you haven't seen these, I thought I'd share.

I'll have to try it again with a single source to see if I can get some cleaner lines.

The original article I got the idea from is here: Parabolas

It was certainly fun to try. Though the ones on the how-to was FAR better executed. I think he spent much more time on this. I just got tired of getting up and then lying down on my kitchen floor and getting up again and so on

It's worth experimenting to get the best results though. A single light source. Lighter. Shorter string. Etc... It'll be good for an evening when I'm either bored or I'm in an experimenting mood as opposed to a creative one.

Basically, I proved out that the how-to method worked. Now the trick is how I can use this for my own creativity as opposed to just mimic another person's result!! That's the hard part

Nice. I like the multiple light sources. At the lower resolution that these were posted at, they do look a little crowded. But I would imagine that at higher resolution the multiple light sources would look very good. I really like these though, I'll need to try this some time.
