Default In the yard.

This is a tulip that has flowered two years in a row for me. Pretty amazing, usually the bulbs cook in the ground, but this one was in a pot and I had forgotten about it. Surprise, surprise.

In the yard-1

Some more bulb plant that someone gave me last year and I had forgotten about, I almost pulled them out thinking they were a weed that normally grows. You can tell I am a gifted gardener.

In the yard-2

My quest to capture bees

In the yard-3

and all sorts of insects.

In the yard-4

Thanks for looking.

My quest to capture bees and all sorts of insects.

Whether the itch is scratched I know not, but I do know that these are good pictures.
A great surprise with the tulip, my whole garden is like that A beautiful blue bulb, gently touched by rain drops. The bee and ladybird, could be the title of a childrens book.
Great set Michele, don't have a favourite, like them all.

Fabulous fotos Michele - yes it's great that spring is here in the southern hemisphere.

You have these so sharp, with vivid colour and well composed. Cheers, Bernz

Beautiful photos... You make joke with your "gifted gardener" but I can say you are really a "gifted photographer". You must be really patient to realise an insect close-up like that. Congrats!

Nice close ups Michelle, I love the bee. Do you use a macro lens, or are you just able to focus nice and close with your normal lens?
