Default BW Portraits

Just sharing some BW's from today's sessions. He was a cutie! it was actually starting to rain while I was shooting these but it wasn't bad enough to make us give up

These were all shot with my 85mm 1.8 @ 1.8 (I think my new passion is shooting wide open)
ISO 200

Ruthiemae just one question how do you always get your portraits so pin sharp your work is always inspiring to me and I am sure alot of other Dps members. These are truly beautiful shots. Thanks for sharing.

I spent many many hours torturing my kids and making them sit in front of the camera while I practiced nailing focus...lol
Also, I sharpen all my images for web.

Hi Ruthie, Tryfan is right, your focus and your photos are always so incredibly good. I love the 4th shot,
his eyes just draw you right in. What an adorable little boy. Thanks for sharing another beautiful set.

Large apertures and fast shutter speeds, love it for those close up and personal pictures that work so well especially with children. Clever and subtle pp finishes the package.
It helps of course, when your model is both cute and adorable and as photogenic as a sunset, excellent Ruthie
