Default Night exposure at Wrightsville Beach

I wanted to try some long night exposures when I was at the beach in August, and as luck would have it, the moon rose as I was taking this shot. It was 10:30 pm when I was shooting, and although I was initially hoping for something that looked a little more like daylight, I've since decided I really love the lighting. Most people assume it's the sunset, not the moonrise.

That's pretty cool, especially with the stars in there also.

What a great shot! Love the reflection of the moon light in the water and the movement of the stars.

Like this.....got stars and moon going in the same direction and the reflection in the water is still tight....lifeguard stand is still nice and bright and detailed....interesting that the moon would be orange but it is that way when very low on the horizon...great job!
