Default Todays adventures on the St.

Haven't posted here in awhile and I saw the Street Photo thread and got me thinking about posting some shots soon. I have been doing a lot of Street Photography this year, but feel I haven't really got in the groove of it.... Till today.

I went out with a great attitude this morning and with the Mantra ~ you gotta take the shot, to get the shot~ (Not sure where I've heard/read that before but I know it from somewhere)

Well it worked, whenever I started to think I just reminded myself ~Take the shot~.

Not that these are superb amazingly brilliant shots, but over all I had a blast today and that's what it's all about. Also after I stood my ground, aimed and fired, riding away (by Bicycle) I was ecstatic. It simply felt wonderful to just do it and over come that fear of, "is this guy gonna come running after me and break my camera over my head?" lol.

So here's a few, I have more to Edit and plan on doing so later. I'll post a couple of my Favorites in a couple of days. Thanks for lookin!

It's true, once you get out there and just do it, you get over that fear and give yur chance to open yourself to a better experience. Looks like that last guy enjoyed it, too!

Great shots. I think the first one is my favorite, but I really like the third one also. Keep up the good work.

Good, I'm not the only one who feels this way!

Wish everyone was this happy to have the photo taken.

Great shots.

Great pictures. I love the guy in the last picture. He looks like someone you would like to meet on the street!

Thanks guy's!

That last guy was the first person to actually ask me to take his picture lol.

The one of the young man and old man against the wall was overcoming the "Choke and roll out" I spotted them across the street, so I waited at the light. The young guy spotted me and I started to sweat (lol). Once I crossed the St. I pulled the "I'm looking at something else move and acted like I wasn't paying attention to them. I almost choked and backed out, but I didn't (obviously) I took three shots. After the first they didn't react so I kept going, best lesson I learned all day. You gotta feel out the subject, if you aim your camera towards them and they cover their face (never happens, just sayin) you should probably move on. If you take a shot and they're ok with one, they'll be ok with another.

And last but not least, it's a Camera you are pointing at them, not a gun you're not hurting anybody, just capturing moments.

Thanks again guy's.

The first on is superb... The composition is rather odd to me though, but that is also what endears the photo to me...

These are all great shots! You never know what you will capture when you just get out there and take random pics.
