Default While Bored at the Airport . . .

I decided to expirement with slow shutter speeds. It's amazing how no one notices a picuture being taken when a camera is on the floor and when you occasionally reach down to press a button.

DFW - Study and Motion

Somewhere to Go

Thanks for looking.

Great pictures, well conceived and planned, captured and edited and the results speak themselves, they are excellent Chip.

Did you get your flight by the way

I love playing with slow shutter speeds. Looks "ghostly"! I was taking a waterfall shot one time and our yellow lab ran in front (she was having a blast and didn't care whose shot she messed up ) and she looks like a dachshund dog all stretched out.

Hah! No . . . I guess I was multi-tasking OK that day. Thanks, Steve.

Slow shutter on a dog has got to lead to some crazy results. Thanks for commenting.

I like the candid and casual-ness of these shots. Sometimes when I need to improvise I get some of my best, or at least in my mind, best stuff.

Are there any regulations about taking pics in an airport? Especially if you seemed to be doing it "on the sly", no matter how innocent your intentions.

Thanks, mhewatt. Glad to know I'm not alone.

I checked TSA's web site before I left and found no restrictions. All I saw elsewhere was chatter about not taking photos of screening areas, gates, etc. So, I stayed away from those areas. Besides, I've taken non-candid photos in terminals many times before, with no trouble. And given all the security cameras that I assume are in terminals, if I was doing something wrong, I tend to think I would've been busted long ago.

Do you know of any restrictions?
