Default Hey, pay attention!

I swung out through horse country and saw this group of juveniles.....The were all out sauntering about, so I took a candid.....

DSC_1381

Hey you all.....here I am......hey over here! Some are still a bit distracted

DSC_1384

WHISTLE loud and sharp......ok......now that's better.......now get in a single file and come to me so I can give each of you a rub on the nose...sorry, no apples or sugar cubes.....your owners may not like that......you might be their million dollar project.....grooming to race for the crown.

DSC_1387

Oh, you are all so well trained! Already hugging the rail as we turn the corner and head for home...got to start somewhere! C,mon guys! perk it up....you all look like a bunch of whipped dogs......maybe I'll sneak a sugar cube next time I come through!

Just love KY countryside...drove through this past weekend and next to TN is my next favorite state! We don't have the thoroughbreds, but we have the TN Walkers. Just wish I had gotten down to the Celebration last week.

Fabulous shots Patrick, and love the narration with them. Michelle and I both have wanted to find some horses, you always give us inspiration with your beautiful shots here. I love the 3rd shot and the 4th I love the way they are following along single file, very nice.

You sure have those horses well trained Patrick. Oh yes, and you got some great pictures of how you made them walk so nicely towards you. I love the colours in these excellent captures. Well done mate. Great work.

Dave.

glad you were able to come through......many of the young horses are now out in the fields and exhibiting some independence as well as some group think still!

I love the green! We don't have too much of that here in the AZ desert! Nice shot of them all lined up by the fence!

Thanks TY, but I think I am more of a horse barker than a whisperer!

deep rich contrast .. beautiful country Patrick, the horses are wonderful .. your narratives are interesting and humorus with a hint of sharing the knowledge you've learned thus far.. the time you take to put your posts together is appreciated , I always enjoy them.
