Default new here.and just found my passion.

Hi all,

I've been interested in photography for along time and last year i took the plunge and bought a cannon powershot S5IS(with which these pix were taken)comments and critique most welcome.I've since upgraded to a cannon 450D and if i don't take pix on a daily basis it feels like i'm having withdrawls lol...

These pix were taken on my last holiday in Durban South Africa..Got to the beach at least half an hour before sunrise.

But not sure if pix have attached to this msg,so if they didn't i apologise in advance

Welcome to DPS Pax
Both are stunning shots. I especially like the second one with the tide coming in and out, great capture of the sun reflecting on the wet sand. I look forward to seeing more from you.

Two really great shots , very well captured. And as starjo mentioned I would also suggest straightening the horizon a bit. Thanks for sharing and welcome to DPS.

Hi Pax and welcome to DPS. You've made a beautiful entrance with these two shots. You have a good eye for composition. Regarding withdrawals. "HI. I'm Lindy and an photoholic." Pax, it's going to take more than 12 steps to cure this!
