Default nine of fiftytwo: out of focus

Ok, so this picture pretty much technically sucks. Probably the only good thing (other than the fact that I actually like it) is that I got my face framed pretty well in the cell phone [yay for external screens!] Anyways, none of it is really in focus, which is probably due to my exposure time, but I had a tough time without flash... next time I may try sports mode, BUT I do think the out-of-focus-ness adds to the picture somehow... maybe?

week nine of fiftytwo

I don't know...I actually think it's a neat concept, and even though it's "technically" not the greatest as you mentioned I give it an A for thinking outside the box!

i think if you could try it again and make it a bit clearer it would come out well because the concept is pretty neat, maybe even just the phone screen focused and the rest maybe still a little blurry would come out cool.

I like it just the way it is. the slight blur makes it look more mysterious.

I love the concept - so cool! I agree that it would look neat to have the screen super sharp, and the rest a little out of focus.

Yeah, this was kinda a spur of the moment OMG I HAVE AN IDEA type thing... maybe I'll re-attempt it in a few weeks. This 52-week project has really helped me get more familiar with my camera, and I'm only 9 weeks in. I will say, though, a shot like this would be so much easier with a remote.

Good imagination! That's the hardest trait to attain. All else will come! Nice shot!
