The flower is gorgeous Ian and so sharp and clear and i love the forest too, nice use of the black and white. Looks like a steep drop on the right of the picture. Great work as usual Ian.

beautiful flower but love the 2nd shot because it's not the sort of thing we see much on here - like the treatment of it too

I like these, the flower is nice but I think I prefer the ruggedness of the forest.

I like them both. The first because of the colour, tone focus and DoF. The second because of its darkness and deepness and the light through the trees and shadows of the trees

Hi Ian, Nice shot on the flower, very well composed. The 2nd reminds me of South Korea in the Winter time. Nothing green grows!!!!!! Lo.l
I like the B & W, I think it intensify's the shadows.

Thx Beach, they were taken weeks apart, though both on bright harsh days .. I was really happy with the feel of them

Jack the 1st is just abeautiful capture of vibrant color and then I thought the woods wer a great contrast of light and dark and knarled roots and worn rocks .then I saw the 3rd with fantastic colors which makes it into an enchanted forest....nice work
