My lady's oldest sister got married over the last weekend (as, i'm sure, many other did), and I off course had to attend.
I really dislike monkey suits.. and new shoes..and standing for darn nearly the whole day. anywho. I was not the photographer for them, but did take some pictures. CnC is, as always, welcome. A different point of view, on a traditional shot..? 1. ![]() My Lady and her two brothers 2. ![]() the bride. on the bottom of her dress, there is a date of the wedding. 3. ![]() the first "official" kiss 4. ![]() CnC is very welcome at all times. You took wonderful photos. My suggestions......
1. This photo is beautiful and I love the angle you chose to use. 2. The picture of your lady with her brothers..... she is looking directly at the camera which leaves her "disengaged" in the photo. Would like to have seen her interacting with them. Otherwise I love the photo. 3. The picture of the bride in her dress..... would like to have seen the bride looking off into the distance as if in thought. 4. Really like this photo. I'd blow up a copy for the bride of this one and give it to her. Great job! Last edited by deborahw92; 09-08-2009 at 05:09 PM. |

thank you so much Deborah.
I absolutely agree on #2 and she was talking to them. but out of the burst shot this was the clearest one, and by the time when I had my non-VR 300mm atuned to get her, I was spotted ![]() All the shots i've taken there, were not staged (they had another person to that), and I was just trying to capture some smaller bits of emotion there. |

I've done this at weddings also (not been the primary photographer) only to have the bride like my shots better. You should show the bride your shots. She''ll love them. Great work!
![]() On the final shot (after looking again) I'd probably crop out the blurry heads too. |
