Wow, what a beautiful place, and so well captured, both in texture and colour.

Great shots, Dan. I never realized that the lake could look so blue and pretty. The sunset shot in the first group, with your girl, is great and the sunset with the driftwood is most excellent. I guess that new camera is working out for you.

I was going to say that you should try and catch the sun setting into Lake Michigan from the dunes. But see that you did that. This is one of my favorite locations in Michigan at sunset.

These four are just wonderful! I'm a nut for grass, so I love this first one. The one that just grabs me out of your 8 shots, however, is this last one of the driftwood with that bright patch of sun. WOW!

Thanks for the positive comments everyone. I have a ton more images to work on from the dunes but haven't had a chance to get around to them because of this gallery exhibit I'm doing. Had to borrow a wide angle lens from a friend at the last minute and put together a portfolio of some architecture here in Ann Arbor.

This weekend I should have time to process some more. I took some huge panoramic images I hope they turn out good.

The images that will be up for sale at the Barclay Gallery can be found here if your interested.

Wow these are all fantastic. What a great looking place. I especially like the first shot and the second and last shots in the other set of photos you added. I am going to add this stunning place to my list of places to see. Thanks for sharing.
