Arrow Cleveland National Air Show

I am an air show junkie and I have even started working at one every year (and have been for the past three). This year I rented a Canon 100-400mm F/4.5-5.6 to use. I am going to have to find a way to save the money for this. It was a real treat to use from my usual 55-250mm!

Here are the results, some of, if not my best shots yet!

I have a ton more to go through. They 2nd picture with the F-15E in front of the Key Bank building doesn't have the © because I was a) awesome and forgot to put it in there b) close the original that I was working with (just copied the layer around). Does anybody have any tips for making that easier to put in in CS3? Automation of some kind?

Excellent pictures. I particularly like the 1st one with the condensing vapour.

This was one of my attempts at our last airshow.

Sweet love that first shot! My coworker actually went to this same air show over the weekend. Can't wait to see his pictures as well. Did you see any stealth fighters at the show?

Not at this one. I went to Rockford and they have a pair of B-1B Lancer bombers. There was supposed to be a B-2 flyby but it never came. I am yet to see an F-117 in the air.

The paint on that F-16 is something else! Civilian? Or is that a common paint scheme to see?

I will for sure have some more pictures up tomorrow.

I think the F-117 is the most awesome looking airplane ever created.

I'm from the Akron area, I was going to go to the air show but I had to work instead. Nice pictures!
Where did you rent the lens from?
