I have been trying for several days to take a decent photo of a butterfly
Same light, same location, same conditions, some days I guess it just isn't meant to be, but you are right Michele, today was a good day and these are good, good colours, good detail, good pictures, well done

Today was definitely a good day for you, these are fantastic. I love the way the dark background in the first one shows the striking patterns of the butterfly. All have great DoF.

Beautiful pictures :-) I've just moved into my first house with a garden after years of living in flats, and am desperately researching ways of attracting butterflies so that I can maybe have a chance of capturing something like this next summer.
Do you have any tips for tempting these gorgeous creatures?
