Default Today, I had a good day.

I have been trying for several days to take a decent photo of a butterfly, and I have not been able to produce anything I wanted to share with you. Well today was a good day, I don't know why, conditions were the same, but I am happy with these.

Thanks for looking. Now what am I going to do?

Same light, same location, same conditions, some days I guess it just isn't meant to be, but you are right Michele, today was a good day and these are good, good colours, good detail, good pictures, well done

Today was definitely a good day for you, these are fantastic. I love the way the dark background in the first one shows the striking patterns of the butterfly. All have great DoF.

These are all beautiful. I especially adore the 1st one! The way you captured the light coming through the wings is stunning.

These are lovely. I especially like #2. Did you use a macro lens?

Beautiful pictures :-) I've just moved into my first house with a garden after years of living in flats, and am desperately researching ways of attracting butterflies so that I can maybe have a chance of capturing something like this next summer.

Do you have any tips for tempting these gorgeous creatures?
