Default some of the first shots with my new dslr, car content inside.

first of all, hello. i picked up my first dslr 9-5-09, and later that day i went to a local classic car show to practice, and learn more about the camera.

i took 180 photo's, here are some of my favorites.

any advice, or opinions are welcome. i still have alot to learn, and im open to new ideas/tips.

thanks for looking.

I am only a "newbie" too, but I think your pictures are nice. Only suggestion I know to give is for the picture of the yellow car. Maybe a different angle on that one to eliminate the people in the right part of the photo? Otherwise looks pretty good to me! Enjoy your new camera

thanks.

i really wanted to capture how the car looked from the front, it was really low, and very minimal.

it was hard to deal with all of the people around, and i didn't want to do the typical front corner shot anymore.

i also have a picture of the same yellow car, but from the rear. the owner stepped into the shot at the last second, and i didn't want to take anymore shots of the car, so i just decided to live with it.

i cant wait for more car shows!

You have some nice shots here. Car shows are difficult, the cars are so polished that there are so many reflections and bouncing lights, you did a nice job. Looking forward to seeing more shots !
