Welcome to DPS, I love the colors you've captured in the sky. If you want a full critique I suggest you pick one and post it in the critique section, for these I think a little cropping of the dark areas would improve them but all in all the sky is gorgeous.

Very nice silhuette shot...

I have to agree with Fred there, too much dark areas..

Welcome to DPS
I like the silhouette of the guy in the first one and also the one of the wire fence. The colours of the sun setting are fantastic. These are all great shots, thanks for sharing.

The last one is my favorite. I have to agree with others though especially on the last one. If you cropped out the blacker areas from the top and bottom, which would turn the picture into more of a landscape orientation, it would bring a lot more to the photo.

Good work though!

I will also agree with what Fred said, some of the other section are better if you're looking for some in depth critique.

Hi Aaron, I must agree with everyone else you have done a magnificent job of capturing the colours in the sky and your photos are well composed, just a little bit of cropping would make all the difference.

Welcome to DPS, Beautiful Sky and silhouettes in your 1st and last caputures. I really like the 3rd one as well. clean and uncluttered, well composed and presented. the shot thru the chainlink, (not so much) Personal preference. I also think the last one would be better with a little more crop on the dark area at the bottom
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.

Aaron,

That's the crop we were talking about...something to that nature. I was looking for this last night and couldn't seem to find the thread for the life of me. Now it's back up top...Great job though. I look forward to seeing more!

I'm pretty new here myself, but welcome to DPS all the same. I have found it rewarding to share my own thoughts and to share my photos.
