Default San Antonio River Walk

Went down to the Riverwalk last evening. I took the Olympus 510, that I've been trying out, and I Really like it ;-) These pics were basically taken on the fly, as my husband was hurrying me along to find a place to eat LOL Think I need to go back down there by myself and take my time. Lots of really cool stuff to shoot.

This was a man looking down from his hotel balcony, the river is below, and there was a river parade last night. I love the hat ;-)

This was the same hotel, a few rooms over. Kind of makes you wonder what or who she's looking at inside the door.

Mariachis. I would have liked to have gotten more and better shots of these guys...but next time ;-) I love his smile though.

And this was just the cutest little girl, I think her brother was about wore out ;-) it was quite steamy and hot down there.

Looks like a neat place to go to. I like these people candids...I do very little of this type of photography and yet they show so much with so little...just a simple expression evokes so many memories and mental imageries.....nice shooting

Good job Stella, the first two work best for me here, I think its the angle up and the B/W treatment, but this a good foursome

Thanks guys ;-) I do very little of this kind of shooting as well, I very seldom take pics of people...so I thought I'd try my hand at it. The Riverwalk it just filled with possiblities too ;-)
Beachcomber, I like the first two the best as well. Although the color versions were actually pretty good, I just thought they had a black and white feel to them.

The first two are fantastic shots and look great in B/W. The cute girl and boy look like they have had a long day. I love seeing expressions on peoples faces it gets me wondering what they are thinking about.
