Default Have you ever seen a blue bee??

I saw this blue bee today during our little family outing. I've never seen a blue bee before. Have you?

Well I must say I have never seen a blue bee until now. This is a great shot. I love the lighting on the flower, as well as a blue bee to boot!

From what I could find, it's called a blue banded bee and is stingless. By the way, very nice picture!!

Thank you! It was a total surprise. I thought I was shooting a regular bee until I was focused on him, and I was like.... He's blue! How cool!

Default Odd you should ask...

As a matter of fact..yes. I actually shot this last night. Nice capture of your blue one. This one was kind of dark blue, and was hanging around the yellow ones trying to fend me off! No stings though.
