Really nice shots. I would really like to know your technique and equipment as I can never get close enough to them without scaring them away.

Really like the way they appear to be hangin on for dear life! I envy you, I havent been able to even find one of these guys all season

Talking thanks

thank you all for your nice words. as for my equipment& technique,sir, i use canon 450d + ef s 55-250mm is lens. both are hand held.believe me,these flies were very still,till i completed my shots,in fact both remained still for minutes, and in our place (kerala,india) these are plenty, dragonflies also
