Default Up close and personal

I have been waiting for these shots all summer...

We came across this fellow on the prairie grasslands, north eastern Colorado.

Wow, these are incredible shots, I hope you were using a zoom lens because it appears as though you are right on top of it and that may not be such a good place to be ??? You did a fantastic job capturing these images. He really blends in with his surroundings doesn't he ?

Oh man snakes creep me out but i really like the dof and the details on the scales... i cant look for long it really creeps me out lol. Im glad I live in NZ
