Default First pic's with my first DSLR!

So, I finally got an SLR! It's an older model...but in perfect shape...and I love it!
It is the Canon EOS Rebel XT...came with the 18-55mm lens...and I have purchased the 50mm 1.8 lens...which I love so far!
Anywho...here are some different test shots!
Thanks for looking!

The bigger one jumping over her caused her to bounce up into the air...lol..looks like she is levitating!

This was taken with my 50 mm lens set to f/1.8...very shallow DOF...

Congratulations on the new camera. You did some great work with your previous one, so looking forward to more with the new one. Those first two portraits are definitely a fantastic start, by the way.

I have long wished that you would have a DSLR, that is, a camera to match your skill. I am so happy for you. So you get one and what happens? You make people levitate! That is just amazing. Very sweet portraits, too. I hope you have a great time with your camera. Again, Congrats!
