So, I finally got an SLR! It's an older model...but in perfect shape...and I love it!
It is the Canon EOS Rebel XT...came with the 18-55mm lens...and I have purchased the 50mm 1.8 lens...which I love so far! Anywho...here are some different test shots! Thanks for looking! ![]() ![]() The bigger one jumping over her caused her to bounce up into the air...lol..looks like she is levitating! ![]() This was taken with my 50 mm lens set to f/1.8...very shallow DOF...

I have long wished that you would have a DSLR, that is, a camera to match your skill. I am so happy for you. So you get one and what happens? You make people levitate! That is just amazing. Very sweet portraits, too. I hope you have a great time with your camera. Again, Congrats!
