Another great set of black and whites Ian, and capturing proper pictures too, real objects. I like them all but the third and first are my favourites here.
The plough, beautifully captured against the slightly long and sometimes clumpy grasses.
The first is a wonderful picture.
Is the home to the white door, the same as our white gate, nevermind.
I like this picture for many reasons. The shape, the B/W treatment, the tone, light and shadows. I like the way the sun catches the roof and the left side. I like the bough of the tree partially framing the picture and almost putting a paternal arm around the shoulder of an aging friend, good job bud

Great B/W set, My favourite are one and three. You have picked great subjects for B/W treatment as it shows more depth and shadows and detail.

Great set of shots !! Love the b/w treatment on them. I find all of them to be good, but I am totally taken with the 2nd one. Something about that one looking like it's about to fall over

These are wonderful Ian, I especially like the 3rd one, the plowshare in the field. All four are well composed and really nice.
Thanks for sharing these
Michael

Barns and farming implements are always a welcome sight. Add weathered wood to that list. And textures--stalks of grass in the foreground, silhouettes of trees, stonework, glint of light on windows and two doors, one white and the other red, perhaps. Why two colors? Evocative photos, JR. They hint at stories. What do you think they say, Barn Whisperer?
