These structures have an Asian/Pacific Islands feel to them, so I did a double take when I saw it was your post. "This is Scotland?" was my first thought. I took a quick look and then headed over to Wiki to read about Crannogs. Wow. I had no idea such structures existed. You know, you sure keep me on my toes. What are they like inside? Your photos show them off nicely.

Hi Linda, it was quite dark inside and I didn`t have my flash, my on camera doesn`t work since I dropped my camera. I have put a couple on my flickr page, not too good but it might give an idea of what it was like inside.
