1st off big thanks to Beachcomber for the name for this thread, cheers Steve!

Here is a rather worn out picnic bench I came across yesterday looking in a sorry state.

DOF Shallower than the nail?

Comments hoped for as normal, both good & bad.

I like this shot very much as is. Simple to the point yet at the same time complex. Lovely.

Great shot. Good example of K.I.S.S. (keep it simple stupid)

I'd be curious to see how this converts to B/W with some good contrast enhancements...maybe even with a yellow filter, then B/W conversion.

I agree, simple and interesing and a great shot of a nail that is no longer needed. This is great work Glyn and a nice spot and yes buddy, you nailed it.

I love the way the eye is lead up the image into a lovely bokeh. nice colors and cracking light. Nicely done.
