Default My first attempt at wedding shoot

These are a couple of 200 pictures I took today at a wedding. I was asked by the church I attend if I would be interested in taking some photos of the wedding. I volunteered my services for free, being it is my first wedding shoot and also for the couple who is going through a very trying time right now. They have a 2 month old son who was born with no upper skull or skin covering his brain. They were told he would not live past 1 week old. He is now 8 weeks and progressing and at home. My heart goes out to them, so giving them pictures to remember their special day was the least I could do for them. Please feel free to give me any pointers to help better myself for the next wedding shoots.

I am also no pro at weddings or portraits for that matter, but I would say that you have some nice shots here. My heart also goes out to this couple, and I pray that their little guy is okay.

These pics are great. I am no professional either. Congratulations on giving them pics for their special day. My heart too goes out to the couple and the little fella. With God's blessing he will be OK. Thanks for sharing.

thanks for the comments. Sorry to say Baby Mark passed away over the weekend. Sad, but he accomplished more in his little life by touching others hearts and both of his parents were saved and joined the church because of him.

They all look fantastic to me. I especially like the composition of the third shot. My thoughts are with the parents and family and friends of baby Mark.
