Default Hiking Mt. Tammany Del Water Gap NJ

Went Hiking at Mt. Tammany in the Delaware Water Gap in NJ on Friday with my wife and one of our Huskies. We went up the Red trail and down the blue. (Blue-dot) Trail
This trail branches off the AT 1/2 mile north of Dunnfield parking to join the Red Dot (Tammany) Trail (Hike 6) atop Tammany. (2-1/2 miles 1250 ft. climb.) 6. Red Dot (Tammany) Trail This trail begins at Dunnfield parking and climbs a steep rocky
grade to join the blue-blazed trail (Hike 5) atop Tammany. (1-1/2 miles, 1250 ft. climb.):

Its a great view, too bad it was cloudy and hazey. We ran into a 6 foot long black snake near the top, here is a shot of it and some others:

great set Kirb .. it's a beautiful place, been there a few times. great lead in narrative. seeing the steps in the first has me saying " oh boy, here we go with a workout !"

really like all the landscapes .. great view, dispite the haze they really show how far you can see up there .. great shot of the snake !
