Besides seeing the great and varied photography contributed to DPS, a "fun" aspect for me has been the constant reminder of the reversed seasons of the southern and northern hemispheres on this old earth. Back when we in Texas USA were just seeing buds slowly turning into leaves, we saw photos of the autumn leaves of Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, etc. What fun it has been sharing this.
