Hi All,
This being my first post let me offer a little introduction. I am Stephen, 54 y.o. male living in Spain but with a very varied past having lived and worked in many countries. I am not new to photography but my interest in digital photography has re-awoken after my wife gave me a Sony A 700 (bought with my credit card I may ad ) for my birthday. It is so new I have hardly got it out the box but what a nice bit of kit!Anyway, I would like to run a couple of shots past you guys to get an expert's opinion. I have always loved landscape photography and these two shots, taken about four years ago, are amongst my favourites. The first is of Hout Bay, South Africa and the other was shot at Soussosvlei, Namibia. What do you think? Thanks all for a fantastic resource and a wonderful, friendly community. Welcome aboard Stephen!
Being an avid sailor, I was drawn to the first thumbnail, but when I took a closer look, I found the second image very nice indeed.

Then I hope to provide some sailing shots in the future too. Also an avid sailor, former ship master and coastguard officer although I have now "swallowed the anchor" as far as work is concerned. Aye // Stephen
