Default Foggy start to Labor Day Weekend...

It was socked in solid this morning...the perfect morning to get out and wait to see what happens when it starts to lift. Unfortunately the Labor Day traffic (boats, trailers, canoes, campers, etc.) was almost unbearable. On top of that, the fog lifted straight up without it's usual "dancing".

The only composition I was able to get was this lone sailboat...and it was hard to get it alone at that with the dozens of fishing boats in the area. I had to use a 300mm lens to get close to it, which meant I had to shoot through all the haze a bit. I think it was worth the effort though so I thought I'd share. I love foggy mornings regardless! Feel free to comment (or criticize if you so desire!).

This is an awesome shot. Very surreal, like a watercolour, but in photographic form. Composition is great as well. I love it!
