Default On a full moon night ....

After trying for a long time, I managed to capture this full moon last night.

Hi Archie and welcome ... for a first attempt - I say that is awesome .. especially trying to photograph the moon .. it's not easy but you did it .. congrats and hope to see more from you in the days to come

Hello Archie, don't usually open thumbnails, but opened yours, it was a good moon photo, and a difficult subject to capture, you did well. Next time though post your pics in medium size and I assure you will get more feedback. Welcome to DPS and continue posting, you'll enjoy this site, as its very helpful to aspiring photogs..

Thanks for your nice comments. Honestly, I tried to post the photograph in its original size but gave up after repeated attempts. Appreciate if you could let me know how I can avoid the picture from being posted as a thumbnail ...are there any specific options that I need to choose while attaching the file. Grateful if you could let me know.

great capture of the moon! u did well, funny a friend called me and asked if I was out taking pics of the moon, unfortunately I did not. I always open the attached ones, I would of missed so many great pics if not.

Thanks Catcher. Well, I have always been quite fascinated by the moon and am glad that this first attempt at capturing it came out quite successfully.
