Default Concrete Cemetery

So I pass by this sign that says Concrete Cemetery, I've passed it a number of times...I always thought it was a place where people could dump concrete/rocks etc...Well turns out it's a real cemetery. It's one of the oldest around here, named for a concrete building that was used as a school house and meeting place. Anyway, I pulled in today, and thought I'd take a look. It was very strange...Some of the graves that had been there forever, still had the dirt mounded up, over where the hole was dug, like it had just been dug...and some of it was just plain sad ;-( Like this,

I thought this rather odd, the shells...

Is that in Texas by any chance?

I ask because the grass is yellow and in the last pic one of the headstones says Tx on the bottom

Yep, it's Texas ;-) In the town of New Berlin. It's a small town just SE of San Antonio, and not too far from the imfamous China Grove ;-) The plaque at the front made mention of the fact that Anglo's and Hispanics were buried in the same place, but there was a barb wire fence separating the two areas...the place where the first shot was taken was the Hispanic side ;-( and it was noticeably more unkempt (is that proper grammar ;-) than the Anglo side.
