Default the calm before.. wait after.. the storm

last night we had the first lightning strikes for the season. I couldn't resist trying them out with a DSLR this time, last time we had lightning i only had my panny TZ-15. I got the only good strike whilist it wasn't raining, i came inside to get the cap for the viewfinder (to reduce light entering from the back of the camera) and as soon as i was about to step out it start bucketing down, glad i came inside when i did.... i think you get why. Then this morning after the storm it is so loverly and still with rain drops still on everything. so i couldn't resist yet again. heres what i got.

thankyou all so much.

yea my shots are getting heaps better. i am learning so much each week. just today i learnt how to make the lightning shot even better. if i use a SMALL aperture not a BIG one.... and use bulb mode.

yea. i haven't been for a ride for quite some time on my YZF250. but i get to ride my DR-250s a fair bit as it is registered
