This brings back great memories of Golf outings in Calif. Early morning mist on the ground, Teeing off, then following the the ball flight as it disappears into the mist. Walking up the fairway leaving foot prints in the Dew and in finding your ball laying in the wet grass.
Thanks for sharing this Hayward
Michael

Thank you all for such kind praises and encouraging comments .. we only play nine holes ... two of our foursome had to work at 9:30am .. all in all, it was a beautiful morning for a round of golf .. again, I take a bow before you for being so supportive of my posts

The title makes me look for the lone golfer who, TBH I would probably have seen as a defect if I hadn't been looking for him. Mostly I'm in the Ansel Adams camp whereby the image has to speak for itself but now and again I think that the image and the caption/text have to be taken together. Nice work Hayward

What a fantastic shot, Hayward. I love the composition of this shot as it provides such a feeling of empty space and the solitude that this great game provides. Awesome!

Really love the feel to this image. The softness of the fog is great, was worth getting up early for this shot.

Hayward...Call the Golf Association and tell them that in addition to your 3-par game the other day, you also took the quintessential photo that would look really nice on their next brochure. Then, call Golf Digest and tell them the same thing. Keep trying, until you get someones attention. Mixed metaphor, I know, but this one's "outta 'da ballpark!"

Well done, sir. I like the perceived height of the shot, and how the tree line mimicks the cloud line. From a fellow golfer, well done! Thanks for sharing.
