Default close ups...getting better



I took this picture several weeks ago. It is the seed pod of a gypsum weed growing in our back yard. The seed pod itself is cool looking, but I noticed tonight when organizing some pics - there is a green bug in the middle of it !!!

I shot this one and the next 2 on the side of the road coming home today. If you look really hard, you can see the web - it is nearly invisible so you may not be able to see it in this medium size. You can see larger version on flickr.

bee on a bloom

Alot of yellow in this one but the bee has some different colors. Still practicing on my macro technique - not quite there yet.

I think this is a lightening bug. It would not turn around and look at me so really not sure...

Nice photos, and I like the color as well. You are a much braver soul than I am getting that close to a spider....ugh!
