Default My first Photo post on here...what do you think?

This is the first photo I have posed on here, just joined yesterday. I just wanted to share one I took yestarday, and I am open to any critiques, thanks.

Hi and welcome

I like the lighting and exposure however, you used a very shallow depth of field and I don't know if you wanted only the twig part of the image to be in focus. I think if the bloom was more in focus and the image was cropped a bit it would look better.
Look forward to seeing more from you
Phil

Great first post and thanks for joining in . never fear in posting on this forum, it's meant to garner friendly comments (you'll get lot's) and advice or critique only if you ask .. there's other forums on this site where people are expected to dive into critique .. take care and post more soon
