Default Out and About with Mechanical Pancreas... again

A few selections from a photo shoot with a couple musician friends of mine and their new found friends. The vintage B&W treatment was at the request of the musicians... enjoy, the rest of the shoot is in my Out and About: the sequel gallery.

Those are stunning. You can hear the piano music in the background.

Thanks for the reply... the shoot was a little nerve racking at first (my first time shooting a group this size) but once I settled in, it was a lot of fun.

What a nice presentation/ format job you have done here! Did you use Photoshop for the treatment?

Thanks for the replies... I lost track of this thread and didn't realize there had been any other replies.

I used the "How to Use Textures to Enhance Your Photographs" tutorial from one of the past DPS newsletters to achieve the treatment on these photos.

The only thing that bothered me was you should clone out the electric lines in the railway shot. They look out of place.

Heh, took me a moment to realize that "Mechanical Pancreas" was the name of the band

Nice work. I look forward to improving my portrait work -- DPS sets a pretty high bar.

I'm not a big fan of gratuitous filter effects, but if the client wants pink polkadots, I guess the client gets pink polkadots.

What an excellent shoot. I think they are all very well done and the effects are amazing. Thanks for sharing.
