You would just love them Hayward, I'm always in awe when I see them.

Yes normally the color is a greenish and white, but when they are super active and dancing across the sky you see reds, purples, pinks and you can also hear them .

This year is going to be the peak in the 11 year cycle with northern lights only getting better. I hope to post more shots as the season progresses.

OMG...that's GORGEOUS!!! I want to see that in person as well. I didn't know that existed in real life...I mean I know about aroura borealis (sp) but that's only once every...what?!?!

Wow that is amazing, you are so lucky to be able to witness this first hand and capture it on camera. The first one is definitely my favourite. Thanks for sharing it with us.
