Default The last set,

These are two of my favorite sunsets, there are many more but I have to end it somewhere.

Cloncurry 9-3

Cloncurry 9-2

the long road home 2,640klms all up.

Cloncurry 9-1

so thankyou for looking at all my photos, I hope you enjoyed them. It certainly made me think more about what I was going to photograph knowing I was going to be sharing them with you all. So from under the shade of a huge Bauhinia tree in the middle of scrubby creek I say, Thankyou for looking.

Cloncurry 9-4-1

The colours in the first one are amazing, love it! I`ts a pity that you weren`t sitting under a Coolabah Tree, then we could all have sang along.

Another great set, love the colors in these shots. Nice to see you have corrected the camera problem of always deleting your own photo, good to see you.

These are all just gorgeous! I love the beautiful calming colors in the first two! I love the vivid blue sky, the empty road that goes on forever and the dry grasses that also stretch on for eternity in the 3rd shot. Of course #4 is special. We all know most of us are much more comfortable behind the camera then in front of it, so I thank you for saying hello! Very well done! I will have to do the same soon!

under the shade of a huge Bauhinia tree in the middle of scrubby creek

An extremely interesting and high quality selection of pictures.
Starting with two of your favourites, two of mine as well, the road represents not just the trip but also your photograpic journey, and finally we meet the govenor.
You must be delighted with how these turned out Michele and they are delightful, very professionally captured and presented, I think they are great.

Michelle I knew you were good ,but this set is just phenomenal.
The first one is just so true to life.
Anyone who has ever sat in the silence in the Australian bush.
And is looking at this shot can hear the last of the small day time creatures scurrying around getting ready for bed.Possibly they can hear the cattle settling down.Maybe even a scary bird call.
You see out there even silence is not quite. But it certainly is beautiful.
Thanks for sharing your work and yourself.
Good to see you.

Never thought of that one, I probably could have found one out there.

Thankyou Michelle, I saw this old shady tree standing in the middle of a dry creek bed and was going to ask my husband to sit under it, but I had no pictures of myself on our holiday so I handed him the camera.

How right you are Dan, the silence of the bush can be overwhelming and beautiful, however I was standing on top of a turkeys nest and all I could hear was rustling!!!! and all I had on my feet were thongs. When it was time to go home my husband insisted on coming up to get me telling me to watch out for snakes, and as he said it like that one, and that one and that one. They were all coming out of the cracks in the ground. I just walked and hoped for the best.
