Default My latest attempt at a decent moon shot

Took this photo earlier tonight (8/31/09). The only thing I changed about the original picture was to crop it. There were clouds that kept passing by the moon, but unfortunately I couldn't grab a decent enough picture. The second shot is my attempt at that.

Thanks, Bryan. I wanted the clouds in the 2nd picture to be more visible, but every time I had the clouds bright, I'd only end up with what looked like a bright white circle for the moon. It lost all it's detail. I'll have to try again tonight and see what happens.

Reminds me of halloween. Nice shots. I especially like the second one. Good color and light.

I really like the one with the clouds in it. Makes it more spooky or mysterious or dramatic, I think that's it
