Two of the lighthouses near croatian coast in Adriatic sea, taken from a ferry. In the back you can see the great Velebit mountain. Actually they're not lighthouses, but I don't know the exact term for this. Someone fill me in on this please.

Its a nice photograph. Using the warning lights on both sides to lead the viewer to the mountains is a nice touch.

Very nice...kind of an eerie feeling...lonely, but nice.

These are navigation lights. Usually used like this to mark the entrance to a channel or shipping lane. Think of them as the white lines on a roadway, stay in between them haha.

Thank you all! I appreciate your comments. I knew these were some kind of navigational lights, they mark the points of a strait or a channel which could be dangerous, so you need to keep away from them. I thought there's some special name for them.
