Default Harley Davidson with Closeups

I'm totally out of my element here but my brother wanted some shots of his bike so of course I couldn't say no. I do have some "regular" shots but these are ones that I played with..
1.Not sure I like this one...

2.My favorite out of the bunch

3.Seriously, it's gotta be bad vibes to put your name on a tombstone on your Harley with the Grim reaper pointing at it!! They are called donorcycles for a reason..ugh I begged him to leave the names off...but MEN!..lol

4.Those who know me...know that I hate selective coloring but some photos are just boring and you gotta do what you gotta do. I thought this one was boring without it.

Photo compositions are really good, with so little to compose and so much has been done. In the 2nd. Photo which i liked the most have you shot with a custom White Balance?!.-Rathin, New Member

Thank you Rathin. I changed the wb in raw and made it cooler (more blue) for the two middle images.

Wow, that's a great color...(always been a fan of blue...). It might not be your usual subject matter, but your quality and style is still there. And, that's a very tasteful and creative use of selective coloring. I'm usually not a big fan, either, (overdone), but examples like this I like.

Great shots Ruthie - I like the way you have captured the face on the mirror. Cheers, Bernz

You are out of your element but it does not show in your photos. I almost passed this one up until I noticed your name. I was surprised. These are great. I agree that has to be some bad mojo to put your name on it like that. I wish him nothing but safe and fun rides! I am sure he is thrilled to have these. I love the selective color in the last one! I also agree that was the finishing touch that just makes that one POP! Great job Ruthie~

thanks so much Michelle. You can't tell men anything. I think he insisted it be on there just because I asked him not to.
