Default First Post :)
Hello everyone,

I have been lurking for a few weeks to get an idea of how the site works. So far I am impressed with the photos I see being shared and the kind comments from everyone. So, here goes... I am just getting into the digital world and can't afford a DSLR yet so I am attempting to get the best from a Canon D10. I took this in front of the place and ran it through the Lightroom Workflow I read on this forum. Let me know what you think and hopefully I can get better and better over time.

First of all, Welcome aboard!!!! It's great to have you with us, and I assure you.....you will learn so much here, and you will find an answer to anything you need.

Welcome to DPS. You'll find its a great place to learn as well as a great place to see some amazing shots and chat with people from all over the world. From the looks of your shot, your doing fine in the learning side.

Thanks everyone for the great responses. It makes us DPS noobs feel great and inspires us to go out and take more photos.

This is actually a flowering bush called Ixora. It seems to flower all summer long and takes full Florida sun.
