Default Finally got my Hummingbird shots!!!!

We went out to my parents in the country today after Sunday School and I drug my XSi along with my 70-300mm Sigma. After sitting on my front porch all summer long watching my Hummingbird feeders trying to get a shot at our "City" Hummingbirds as I call them there I was surrounded by "Country" Hummingbirds all day long so I got off some good shots finally.
All shot in Manual @ 300mm using Manual focus!
Here they are:

LOL good for You! Great catch! I'm sure you're thrilled, I know I would be. I've been trying to get some hummer shots as well, but don't have the patience. Well done!

It's about darn time! JK!

My favorite is the first. I love how these have been framed.

Thanks Betty, Actually I got a ton of shots as they flew in and out of there all day long. These were just 4 of the better ones I got. Being in Manual focus at 300mm some were naturally out of focus. I took 289 pictures today LOL

These are some fantastic Hummer shots! The 1st and 2nd ones are my favorite, if I just had to choose, but I love them all. Great job!

Thanks Becky, Yeah I know LOL I been trying to get some good Hummer shots all summer long and never could catch the ones at my house visiting the feeders. I even had my tripod set up with the 85mm pointed at the feeder with my wireless remote sitting on the porch and still they never came. I think "city" hummingbirds are just camera shy or something LOL.

Great shots Tony! I never have the patience for something that moves that fast. Maybe its the slower pace of country life, but I have to agree that the ones in the city are just too fast for me!

Here are a couple more that I finished PP on. I will have some more later this week when I can work on them. Tomorrow is Monday and back to work so I will have less time to work on PPing them.

I still don't know what to do with this last shot but for some reason I just really like it and it just pulled me in. Later I will do some more PPing to it and see what I can accomplish.
