Default Not the Kind You'd Use for Your Hair

Definitely not the kind of comb you'd use for your own hair! Wool combs can be NASTY.

If I ever needed to grab something in the house to defend myself with, I'd pick this over a kitchen knife... (grin) (And, I know, the second picture isn't great, but it gives you an idea how long and pointed those tines are--and they are sharp!)

Note to self: don't try to break in on Deb.

Seriously, great shots!

Really, they can be vicious combs if you don't know what you're doing--the tallest row of teeth is about 7" high and they are sharp, stainless steel. Not quite knife-sharp, but, well, pointy stainless steel spines could do some damage if you're careless! Getting the camera to focus on the very tips of the teeth was a challenge, but I'm really happy with the way that shot came out. There's a reason these things come with covers to protect the innocent!
