The moon with a 700mm telescope

OK so I ordered my T-Mount for my XSi a few weeks ago and waited for my Father-In-Law to bring me his telescope down from his mountain cabin. Well he kept forgetting to get it when he was up there until this week. So I go over and pick it up at his house eager to get it home and get some awesome moon shots but to my dismay the T-Mount I got will not thread onto the mount on the telescope. So I just held it up to the eyepiece and snapped a few shots just for the heck of it then I put on my 70-300mm Sigma and got out the tripod and remote shutter release and snapped some shots at 300mm. So here they are and I am gonna order a T-Mount that fits and will post some better pics soon.

These are great. I keep trying to take pictures of the moon but my camera is horrible at night.

Well, I am so disgusted that my T-Mount did not fit that I just about threw it out into the street LOL. I emailed the Ebay store I bought it from in hopes of finding out why it was the wrong size.
